Project Zomboid: Multiplayer is back! Unstable Build 42.13 now available on our hosting
Today the developers of Project Zomboid released Unstable Build 42.13, which finally brings back multiplayer support. The update is currently in the Unstable branch, but you can already deploy a server on our hosting and test all the new features with your friends.

Key things to know about Unstable Build 42.13
- Multiplayer is WIP and has been released mainly for stress testing. Crashes, bugs and wipes are possible.
- It is strongly recommended to play on whitelisted servers or via Steam co-op for a more stable experience.
- Currently it is not advised to run servers with 50+ players – for now the devs recommend staying around ~20 players per server. Performance and optimization will improve in future patches.
- Do not use debug mode during MP sessions as it can severely impact server performance.
- All mods (including client-side) should be disabled for now, until mod authors update their work for this version.
- Old saves are not compatible – saves created before Unstable 42.13 may be corrupted by the conversion process. Make sure to back up your saves.
- Ragdoll functionality is temporarily disabled in MP and will be reintroduced in later patches.
- Future updates to the Unstable branch may break current MP worlds, so be prepared for this if you run a server for friends or a community.
