Patch 1.1 Invaders of Oakveil for V Rising is now live

Greetings, night hunters!
Since the 1.0 launch last May we’ve been busy: a PlayStation 5 release, a mountain of bug fixes on every platform, and—exactly as promised—a hefty free update. Almost every change springs from your feedback, blending quality-of-life polish with a feast of fresh content.
Below you’ll find a completely re-written (and spoiler-packed!) overview of patch 1.1 prepared for the XLGAMES.GG community. Make sure to restart your server after tweaking any settings.

WORLD & LOCATIONS
New Biome – Oakveil Woodlands
Toxic vines engulf the north-west of Vardoran, where the mysterious Venom Blades harvest foul “Venom Sap” for their Serpent Queen Megara. Cut their ritual short before the corruption spreads.

Legacy Zones Updated

Farbane gains a cave exit to Oakveil.

NPC Life & Day-fight Shade
Idling characters now lean on walls, rest at fires, work fields, and boss arenas gained denser cloud cover for safer daytime battles.

Contests System (also works on PvE)

Dueling Banner – drop a flag, duel one-on-one, auto-heal at the end.

Arena Station – build a full arena, pick teams, toggle “sudden death,” etc.
CASTLES
New Stations
Stable • Redistribution Engine • Blood Homogenizer • Fusion Forge • Treasury floor • Advanced Sawmill
Plus invisible foundations, move-able planters, XL plots, extra teleports, loads of décor, and early Throne of Darkness.
SERVANTS
Any blood-bearing unit can be dominated; conversion now 20 min. Throne unlocked earlier, base Hunting Proficiency 100, four new hunt sites.
AUDIO & MUSIC
Speaker-mode selector (stereo / 7.1) and two Oakveil tracks (day / night). Hundreds of SFX polished.
SERVER SETTINGS
Clan-based Castle limits • Stygian Shard drop multiplier • SoulShard_DurabilityLossRate • Private-host pause.
RAIDS
Ladders trigger “under attack”; pillars break again; gate HP –50 %; siege golems deal fixed damage.
UI / ACCESSIBILITY
Build menu reorganised, “Research” → Knowledge. Traders got descriptions, stack-split slider added, text scaling, better chat/map/sorting.
BLOOD & ATTRIBUTES
All blood types reworked, new Corrupted blood, two Stygian passive tiers. New stats: Weapon/Spell Charges, Ultimate Power, Shapeshift Speed, etc.
WEAPONS & SPELLS
Three newcomers (Claws, Daggers, Twinblade) plus six fresh baseline spells. School Mastery system, Jewels now in five fixed tiers, Fusion Forge merges weapon/jewel attributes. Classic gear re-balanced.
ECONOMY & JOURNAL
New resources (Corrupted Oak, Venom Sap, Emery, Ember Glass …), recipe tweaks, Throne quest moved earlier.
V BLOOD RESHUFFLE
Levels, rewards, and unlocks shuffled—Rufus now grants the Dueling Banner, Dracula drops less fashion but more challenge.
